Career Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree minimum
  • Previous Clinical Trials involvement is a plus
  • Medical background is a plus. 

Selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Scheduling Site Initiation Visits, Monitoring Visits, and Closeout Visits conducted by the clinical trials sponsors.
  • Maintaining study binders, communication logs, protocol, qualifications, and various additional documentation as required by the clinical trials sponsors and the study protocol.
  • Maintaining, handling, and processing records of adverse events and notes to file as well as other regulatory documentation for the studies.
  • Responsible for receiving and filing all study materials, handling and transport of specimens, responding to operators’ additional inquiries regarding specimens and/or ongoing trials.

In our Clinical Trials Laboratory, the majority of the workers are full-time or part-time employees at several hospitals and clinics in Louisville, Kentucky; Hardin, Kentucky; or New Albany, Indiana.  Our staff includes:

  • Eight board-certified medical technologists
  • Several phlebotomists
  • A board-certified clinical chemist
  • Several physicians and nurses trained to conduct clinical trials

Areas of Previous Clinical Trial Work Experience

We have participated at various steps of biomarker and clinical laboratory test development. 

Some of the areas in which we have previously conducted FDA studies for clinical trials are:

  • Urine chemistries
  • Urine sediments
  • Point-of-care platforms

  • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring including immunosuppressant

Regulatory Concerns 

Our Clinical Trials labs are HIPAA compliant.  We are registered with CLIA and follow good laboratory practices.

We have standard policies in place for monitoring freezer and refrigerator temperatures.

Our most recent FDA Audit resulted in no deficiencies.
